My early career roles were in marketing before taking on more senior roles to develop print and digital products for the higher education market. Digital and blended learning has therefore always been at the core of my work.
In 2008, I joined Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Over the following decade, I worked across open and custom executive education in business development, client relationship management, programme direction and learning innovation. This gave me a strong understanding of the whole executive education business: developing propositions, understanding client needs, designing learning, directing programmes and building relationships that support commercial growth.
In 2018, I established Angela Adams Consulting whilst completing my Masters in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh. Today, I work independently across the two sectors that have shaped much of my career: organisational learning and leadership development, and higher education.
What connects all of this is a set of beliefs about what learning should do: build capability and competence to enable people to flourish and shape their organisations so that everyone can do their best work. Technology is one enabler to deliver on this.
